Purpose-built over only one storey, Glencairn Lodge is decorated and furnished to the highest standard and provides a true home-from-home for all residents.

Centrally-heated and double-gazed throughout, the building is situated within its own private landscaped gardens and grounds. The care home is able to house up to 75 elderly residents, each in their own en-suite single person accommodation linked to a 24-hour assistance call system.

Glencairn Lodge has been specially equipped to meet the unique needs of elderly residents and its facilities have been tailored to suit those with disabilities or mobility problems. The home has a wide range of mobility and comfort aids for residents, ranging from therapeutic, pressure-reducing mattresses and seat cushions to walk in showers and specially adapted bathrooms for disabled residents.

There is also a range of communal living rooms and facilities where residents can relax and enjoy each other's company or take part in one of the homes' many organised activity sessions.
