At Glencairn Lodge, creating a comfortable and welcoming home for residents is the core aim of the management and staff and at the centre of how the facility has been designed and equipped.

Glencairn Lodge strives to provide the best of care and support for all its residents and encourages prospective residents, and their families, to tour the home to see its facilities and meet its people when considering the option of residential care.

Short, trial-period stays for prospective residents can also be arranged so that they can experience the level of care and service provided at the home at first-hand before committing to applying for a place at Glencairn Lodge.

Prospective residents can then apply directly for a place at Glencairn Lodge if they wish, but the majority of applications follow an assessment of need by the local authority.

Each application is given careful consideration by the home's management team and, depending on the current level of vacancies, an offer of a place may be made.
